About us

Twin Rivers Guide Service is a well established, locally owned guide business in Northeast Arkansas, owned and operated by Jerry Edwards with over forty years experience.

With one of the few private green timber tracts in this part of the country, Twin Rivers properties are specifically managed for waterfowl. Whether it be a flooded corn field or rice field, or our own green timber tract, we make every possible effort to insure our hunting locations are meticulously prepared. You will get the best green timber and flooded rice and corn field duck hunts available. You won’t have the hassles of crowds of hunters either. We hunt on our own property. This hunters paradise is located between the waterfowl rich Black River and Cache River in Northeast Arkansas. Of course, safety is always a big concern for us.

Things You Need To Bring

Being well-prepared ensures a more enjoyable and successful experience in the field.

Arkansas hunting license

Bring your Arkansas hunting license, as it’s required to legally hunt in the state. Make sure it’s up-to-date and includes the necessary endorsements for waterfowl or any other game you’re pursuing. (Call us and we’ll tell you how to get one before you even get here!)

Camera

Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture the memorable moments of your hunt, whether it’s stunning wildlife shots or celebrating your successful day in the field!

Shotgun and Non-toxic Shot

Be sure to bring your shotgun and non-toxic shot (such as steel or bismuth) for the hunt. Non-toxic shot is required to protect wildlife and comply with hunting regulations, especially for waterfowl hunting.

Waders

Bring waders to stay dry and comfortable while hunting in wet or marshy environments. They are essential for navigating water-filled areas and ensuring you can move easily during the hunt.

Face Mask

Bring a face mask to help with camouflage and concealment during the hunt. It minimizes your visibility to game by covering your face and reducing glare, essential for staying undetected by waterfowl or other animals.

Duck Stamps

Bring a federal duck stamp, as it’s required for waterfowl hunting in many areas. This stamp serves as your permit, supporting conservation efforts while ensuring you’re legally licensed for the hunt.

Relaxation

After the hunt, relax in our comfortable lodge, a rustic, well appointed 4000 square foot facility, located on the banks of the Black River. It is well furnished and equipped with a pool table, pinball machine, and satellite TV. Texas Hold’em is also a very popular way to relax. Fax and E-mail services are available for your convenience.
